Invisalign® is an orthodontic method intended to straighten teeth using clear, removable aligners. These aligners are two separate trays made of dental plastic, custom-molded to fit over your top and bottom row of teeth. This treatment moves the teeth gradually into the projected spot. New sets of aligners will keep up with the movement of your teeth so that you have an even smile at the end of the treatment plan.
You should wear the aligner trays for the majority of the day. Unlike retainers, which prevent teeth from moving, Invisalign aligners keep the teeth moving in the proper direction. It means they are durable, but they will need replacing every couple of weeks to ensure continuous movement.
Dr Cook and staff were kind, supportive and put me at ease. Dr Cook didn’t rush and explained everything in great detail. Menton Family Dentistry will become part of my dental family.

Invisalign is for people who want the least obvious, most comfortable dental correction procedure. Treatment time is comparable to traditional braces, but they may cause less discomfort as the teeth move more gradually. The aligners hug around the gum line, which means better comfort for the wearer. In addition, the treatment uses no wires or metal, preventing the potential for an emergency dental visit or irritated gum lines.
You will not feel the need to hide your smile with this virtually invisible treatment technology. Invisalign is a discreet method to straighten your teeth and correct your bite. Anyone would have to look very closely at your teeth when your mouth is open to notice the aligners. This treatment effectively fixes crooked, crowded, and overlapping teeth, bite issues, and even closing gaps between teeth.

We are truly passionate about taking care of patients. We want them to be with us for 30 years or more! Our process involves meeting our patients first and making sure they leave our office fully informed.
What we do well and take extremely serious, is availability for patients. We have the ability to see them when they need to be seen and make sure we run on time. If the appointment is at 8 o'clock, you're seen at 8!
As of today we're proud to have an average rating of 4.9 in Google and we have over 1,100 combined reviews on the internet that anyone can find. We are very grateful to all our patients who have taken time to share their experience with all of you.
We want to make sure we cover all bases. Our facility is equipped to provide our patients with everything from models to photographs of their teeth, photographs of their smile, full x-rays, molds if we need to, and scans. Then we discuss.
We are a general dentistry practice specializing in people first. We make sure each patient is informed of their current condition, short term and long term concerns, things that will last or not for a period of time, and we let them decide.
The Invisalign dentist will apply the treatment by first using a template aligner. It will have spaces in the mold to line up with attachments placed on your teeth. These attachments or buttons are tooth-colored dots placed onto the teeth as grip support for the aligners. The surface of the teeth that will have the attachments will need priming for the aligners to stick. The dentist will create rough spots on the teeth before going in with a gel and template aligner.
The template aligner inserts into the mouth with the dental bonding gel, which hardens using light to create the attachment points. The hardened gel attachments will then match the gaps created in the mold of your aligners. Once the gel has hardened, the dentist will clear any excess leftover. When the aligners are complete, you will be ready to start your teeth-straightening journey.
Not all treatment plans require the use of attachments, but they help the aligners move the teeth more effectively. Our Invisalign dentist will create a plan that is right for you.
